Vision Med LTC and Compounding pharmacy delivery personnel are our own employees, not employees of courier companies. This is significant because we have direct authority over our delivery personnel, and if an issue arises, we can address it immediately. Also, your staff and us drivers will become familiar with one another. The drivers get to know the preferences of each facility and even each station. They make note of where to look for returns and which staff members are designated to accept medication deliveries.
Before we begin service with a new facility, we develop a delivery plan where we discuss what is the best time for their routine deliveries, who is authorized to accept deliveries, and whether any unique delivery situations need to be addressed.
